To the tune - FIFTY WAYS TO LEAVE YOUR LOVER
by Paul Simon
The problem is all inside your blood, she said to me
The answer is easy if you take it logically
I'd like to help you in your struggle to be free
There must be several ways to save your liver
She said it's really not my habit to intrude
Although it seems one side effect of this treatment's bein' rude!
So I repeat myself, at the risk of sounding crude
There must be several ways to save your liver
several ways to save your liver
Chorus:
Just doing your Peg, Meg, add Rebetol, Paul
Don't need to be coy, Roy, just listen to me
Hop the Tx bus, Gus, don't need to discuss much
These meds are your key, Lee, to get yourself free
(repeats 2x)
She said it grieves me so to see you in such pain
I wish there was something I could do to make you smile again
I said, I appreciate that, then would you please explain about those several ways
She said, the Peg meds are the most effectiveEffective strength cough syrup way
But she said you have to know that it won't always be that way
The answer for you may be to wait for something new
There must be several ways to save your liver
several ways to save your liver
I said I'll fight now if you'll help me through this, doc
So we sat down and we had ourselves an interesting talk
And now it won't be long until I'm finally through,
There must be several ways to save your liver, must be several ways to save
your liver
Thanks,Kim.
Okay everybody,
I've got an application on the way from Pegassist. They won't tell you what their income cutCuts and puncture wounds-off point is for qualifying, which maddens me, I mean, don't we all have to deal with enough mysteries and unknowns with this **** already?! Part of me thinks that might be a good thing, because it may indicate that they are willing to be flexible...maybe I'm being overly optimistic, which seems odd, considering my recent run of luck. Point is, does anyone out there have experience with Pegassist? Anyone get turned down for making too much money? If so, can anyone tell me how much was too much? I didn't get any responses to my inquiries about clinical trials. New Sojourn are you out there? You are the only one I heard from who had experience w/ trials, but you didn't tell me how long it took to get in, how involved was the process, how often did you have to the location, can your own doc oversee things, etc.. Someone wrote that there aren't any more trials, but I found some listed on the gov website. I anxiously await my bx results, while I push on, trying to find a means to pay for tx.
Congrats to all of you who've achieved SVR and finished tx. I hope to join your ranks soon...
Lauren
You're certainly welcome to use this or any of my fight songs! I did them originally for myself and then even though my 2 tries at tx were unsucsessful and I'm no longer doing the meds, I've had enough say they use the songs to find friday.
Go for it, my songs and those from a few others can be found at
fangs, i'm so glad you have something in the works...i just pray the best for you kiddo...i know something will work out for you...keep looking at the glass half full!!!
hi honey, how are you? what's new these days? hope you're well...are you having a good weekend?
You should start a new thread entitled "Can anyone tell me about clinical trials?" or something like that. You don't ALWAYS have to conserve on threads, and the weekends are usually quieter anyway. When you are desperately needing some info like that, you need to start a thread and make the title very clear. I know there were other people involved in clinical trials, just can't remember who.
I hope you get some good results to all your efforts,
Hey there Sandi! Doing good here and been so busy since completing tx. I'm trying to make up for lost time of a year and playing catch up lol How you doing these days? I guess the kittens are keeping you company and busy while you are still doing tx... I just thought of something other day that made me laugh,,,Do you remember that time that you left town for awhile and couldn't get to computer and when you got back,,the whole board had flipped! ROFL I'll never forget that posting you made while you were in process of trying to figure out what all had happened!
Love your pastor and your church!! Great idea!! I'm telling my hubby,,,I want some lobster! haha Take Care Lady and keep us laughing!

I'm a musician in Las Vegas. Can I sing that song in the club I'm performing? I see you didn't copyright it so I thought I would ask your kind permission first. You missed your calling, unless you are a lyricist. My hat off to you....
