Merry Christmas to me!!!!

My 10-week Heptimax test came back UNDETECTABLE!!!  (geno 1b) I didn't realize how nervous I had been about it until she gave me the results and I actually cried.

My boyfriend said "So that means you're done with the medicine now?", which just goes to show how much he has listened to a thing I've said for the last 6 months.  So, I'm glad I at least have some people to tell who understand.

GREAT NEWS!!! You are on your way to SVR. I can't think of a better gift right now. My husband actually has listened and gotten most of the info I tell him and it shocks me. Course he's a pretty smart guy. But ask him if he noticed the dead elephant in the living room for over a week and he won't remember....

What great news right before the holiday.  Was this your first test?  It is amazing what people don't know / don't care to know about this disease. I too am grateful for this board and the to have people who understand.

Yes, it was my first test since beginning treatment.  I was supposed to have had one at 4 weeks, but the nurse forgot (I guess because the office just started doing 4-week VL tests recently).  So, I had no idea what the result was going to be.

P.S. Try not to club your boyfriend during a riba-rage bout,  some guys do not always listen so clearly, especially if they're being distracted.
