I personally haven't heard of anyone relapsing after 6 months if the other tests before were all negative but guess it could happen,,,slim chance though.  Neal,,,I think you made it!  Way to go!

since we are in the fear of relapse mode, I want to take advantage and ask if any geno 1 has heard, or themselves gotten a positive reading at 6 months after a negative at 3 months post tx PCR? how about a positive at 12months after a negative at 6? I don't want to rely on studies statistics alone, but wanted to hear from tangible people, and was wondering how much to worry.

I am 2B and was undetectable throughout my first tx. I relapse about 3-4 weeks after successfully completing TX.

I hope to get better news this time.

Long time, huh? Finished Aug.27,2004. Did my PCR yesterday. What a great doc I have. Told him I was having difficulty finding a new PCP in my local area. He asked me what I was taking and offered to write me 6 months on all of my scripts so I didn't have to stress about that. Cool guy! Got alot of rain this winter but fortunately the creek floods away from my place so I'm high and dry. Still working but not travelling nearly as much as years past. Have really only been a couple of times since my TX which suits me just fine. Been lurking around this forum just listening in mostly for the past 6 months or so. All in all I'm feeling pretty good with most of the serious stuff behind me now. Was just looking for some testimonials on 2b relapsing. Good to here from ya'. Neal
