Viral LOAD! Woohoo

I posted what I was told was test results sometime last week. Im sure most of you remember. Today I had my appointment and the NP was actually great and knew what she was talking about.

are you ready for this? Drum roll please...

At beginning of treatment I was 121,000 at week 5 test I was 9... just plain ole 9. Im on week 10 now so my thinking is I should be UND by now! I will have another PCR done june 1st and will find out soon. Hope it dont take 3 weeks again for results.

Portann,
Are we really going to look back and think that wasn't so bad, wasn't so long?  Like raising kids, like having the flu, like finishing college?  Feels to me like the clock has just stopped.

Sorry that I missed this new thread of yours. Post-tx is very confusing. :)

I so love to hear how you're doing and know you can beat this thing forever.

You had to be very patient waiting for the results but your advantage is that you had such a great test, down to 5!

And like you say, you had 9 and wish you could have plucked out 4 of the virons. :)

I really don't know what 9 means but I'll go along with HCA, that this is an excellent result!

My doc is a dinosaur and only ever gave me a 50.  So I am not too happy with this but it's late in the day to change the past.

At least you're starting off on the right foot, with super-sensitive testing.

You're going to be finished tx so fast, you'll wonder why you can't even remember the bad days.

Best regards and look forward to hearing from you,

Port

HCA
9 is an arbitary figure. It means that RNA was detected but at too low a quantity to accurately quantify.
It is an excellent result!

I wanted to be UND to on this test but Ill settle for a 9.. this is 5 shots later and I know Ive won half the battle. My last PCR took 3 weeks and 2 days. I was on pins and needles. Its like you want to get in there yourself and pluck out those 4 buggers with a pair of tweezers just so you know!!! lol

i started with 4mil and first month came back 26, it kinda frustrated me since i wanted to see UND, which i got from wk 12 results.  you're doing so great!  i definitely think your june 1st results will show up UND!  and PCRs usually take at least 7 days for the results to come out :)

The NP told me that 5 is UND now. I will get my test copies out of the car and post them later.

9 is undetected.  Am I missing something?  Have they changed the lower limits?  Some tests only measure to 50 and if you're less than that, you are undetected.
