Hello,

I haven't heard of any specific foods that can lower or incr those values. In addition, I don't think that these values can be affected by an outside source.

Good luck,
Ben

There are several herbs and diets that will help lower ALT and AST, also liver heath in general in most people.
Here is a web site that list many different choices.

There are liver friendly foods and supplements but just keep in mind things that are good for people without HCV may not be good for people with HCV or on tx. I would talk to your doc about any supplements you might choose to take. LL

I've sent her several emails and never got an answer. I've still got her phone number from a while back. I will try to give her a call and will post back.

I have wondered about Cindee, too..  Hopefully, we'll know soon.
How are you feeling these days?  You're so close and have done such a great job of sharing your experiences and knowledge of HCV with the rest of us.  You are often in my thoughts and at those times I am always wishing you well with minimal sx and SVR as your prize :)
