Undetectable at 11 weeks ...

My doctor just called 5 minutes ago (on a Saturday nonetheless) to give me my 11 week PCR results .. undetectable!  This is a huge boost for me.   Watching my hair thin, feeling gross, depressed, etc.   I'm a 2b and I have 13 weeks more of tx to go.  I know I'm far from SVR, but I'm heading in the right direction.

Sorry to burn a thread on this news, but I wanted to share this.  Maybe it will give somebody out there hope.

Bluepeng.

That is wonderful news!  I'm so happy for you.  That gives me as well as many others encouragement that this too will work for us.  I'm in week #9 (shot tonight) and have had rough times and good times and so happy to hear your news...a great boost.  Best to you and you're 1/2 way there.  Hang in there! Great doctor to call you on Saturday!!!

I tell you what,,,,this tx might have messed with you some but not your brain,,,not your witty humor!  You have really held your own through this whole year and I know,,,you have had lots of extras your way that certaintly didn't add to the fun! I can't wait until you are through and starting to come out of the clouds again!  We will party hardy...lol

Week 40, babe, and counting.   Enjoy that nice weather while you can before the heat and humidity descend.  I swear, anyone who can survive treatment AND Texas weather at the same time deserves a gold medal.  Now THAT'S real Olympics-level suffering....    :)

Keep up the good work blue. You can do it no matter how gross you feel. Dig in the heels. Do not let this dam virus win. This fight is revealing your character. Win at all costs.

Man, I know exactly how you feel. First few weeks that is all I was waiting for, that week 12 PCR..
And when it came, I didn't know whether to jump, scream, or just run around like a madman.. So I opted to just lay on the couch and drink another gallon of water.. LOL!
Stay hydrated, and don't worry bout a thing...Your almost done.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.  I'm not sure I'd be this far without this forum.  I read it every day .. sometimes several times a day.

Scruff .. it is short for blue penguin.   I've adopted the penguin as my HCV mascot.   A deceptively tough bird!
