Hi Bobby
Welcome to the hep c forum. As Nan said about your knowing your liver status will also help to have an idea how you will feel post treatment. Hepatitis c can cause tiredness so eradicating the virus will help with that. However, if your liver disease has advanced to cirrhosis that can also cause you to feel tired along with other problems. But all in all getting rid of hep c you should feel like you have more energy.

Good luck

After my last post, I noticed from your title that you are genotype 2B.  According to the hcv guidelines:

Daily sofosbuvir (400 mg) and weight-based RBV (1000 mg [75 kg]) for 12 weeks is recommended for treatment-naive patients with HCV genotype 2 infection.

Across all 3 trials, 201 of 214 (94%) patients with HCV genotype 2
achieved SVR with sofosbuvir plus RBV.

Its hard to predict how you will feel post treatment, however from what others have posted here, you should feel better during and after treatment as compared to the prior treatments that were available.

Good luck!

Hi Bobby
Welcome to the forum.  In order to better answer your question we would need to know which treatment you will be on and how much liver damage you have.  What is your genotype?  If you don't know, be sure to ask your doctor.
Your genotype will decide what treatment is best for you as well as how long you will be on treatment.  The liver biopsy will let you know the current status of your liver.

Keep coming back here. There are lots of experienced and supportive people here that will help you get through this.

Nan
