Thanks to all of you who answered.  The Dr I was seeing made it seem that it could not be this and started me on Thyroid meds for the swelling in my legs.  I had to make the clinic give me my 2nd blood test info.

You are not being paranoid at all. You definitely need to see a hepatologist.

You have Hepatitis C and should be seen by a liver specialist (hepatologist) for further evaluation and to determine your options. Hepatologists can usually be found at your larger, teaching hospitals and in general know far more about this disease than other doctors, including gastros.

Hi, I do not mean to alarm you but you should see a hepatologist (liver specialist) ASAP!  the lab results you posted are not good and indicate you have something severe going on with your liver. If your doctor did not recommend a specialist after seeing these results then he should have his license pulled. call someone in his office and demand a referral and if they do not want to give you one tell them with lab results that you have they are looking at a malpractice lawsuit !!! good luck
