I am in week #4 and find myself getting more nauseous day by day. I do have ginger chews and crackers, which seem to help to some degree, but it feels like I am going beyond that. Ginger Ale kinda made me wanna throw up, which is not the norm for me. I have had other times when I felt like I would throw up but didn't, so it is more concerning now because I am about to add VIC to the mix. Can you tell me what has helped you with this SE?? Thanks in advance :)
I'm with Billy, Zofran has helped and I'm taking it three times a day, but not 100%. I just boiled up some ginger root to make my own tea. I'll let you know if that helps. It doesn't taste very good, but then nothing does anymore, so what the heck!
Those soft peppermint candies saved me. Also try herbal peppermint tea. Most things tasted horrible to me but peppermint was okay. Also, broth made from bullion cubes (I like the vegetarian) but only if you don't have sodium restrictions
ResearchM -- Actually, I do have sodium restrictions, so thanks for mentioning that. I will get some of those soft peppermints tomorrow.
Thanks Screaming! -- I'll get some regular peppermints too.
Working Dog & Jilly -- Not sure I want another drug (I'm on 9 right now; Yikes!) unless I absolutely need to, so I will ask my doc what she thinks about Zofran. Good to know something works though, should I need it. Thanks :)
