if you are really concerned about cancer you can get an ULTRASOUND - it's must less invasive than the biopsy and will be the tool used to determine if you have any tumors or cancerous growths.
Without knowing any of your other info or your protein markers or if you even h ave hepc...that might be a nice easy way to start. If you do have hepC and are going to treat they are going to give you one anyway so......get a head start :)
Cancer is the last stop on the liver disease road. Don't worry about that one before you check out all the other possibilities that come before that. Do you have hep c? Have you had a biopsy? What is your genotype? What is your viral load? Cross each bridge as you come to it.
Let us know what you find out.

Alpha feto Protein is used as a marker for primary liver cancer; but it is rather rare outside of cirrhosis.

GGT is often a marker for alcohol use, but it can also be suggestive of over liver issues. Do you have HCV or cirrhosis?
