Congrats on your heptimax result - that's awesome.
I'm not sure that this is relevant, but earlier this year I attempted ozone therapy. Because of a leak in the machine, I was subjected to raw ozone, not for long thank goodness, but I did end up in hospital hyperventilating. I had 100% oxygen levels in my blood and extremely low Co2 and couldn't catch my breath (or hyperventilated from the anxiety of how I felt?). I was put on oxygen (go figure?) and had an x-ray and bloods. They said my lungs may have been irritated which could affect my respiration. The oxygen helped and I was okay within a few hours - the x-ray was clear. It could, of course, all have been an anxiety attack from having 100% oxygen in my system. My point is that apparently Co2 plays quite a role in our respiration.
If you continue to be concerned, I would ask to see a specialist, or at least go back to your doctor and see if he can explain the scenarios that could cause a drop in Co2. Did he check your oxygen levels? It could be that it is just part of the normal effects of riba/interferon; I don't know, but I hope you're feeling better soon and congrats again on the blood tests.....
Co2 is CARBON DIOXIDE. No reason to want more of it.
Happy Wednesday! :)
