Vioxx

I got a letter from Merrek (sp) telling me I had been prescribed a drug that had been taken off the market for health reasons. Of course I already knew that, and had only taken it the last 2 months of tx., but did anyone else that took it get one?  Joni

I've never taken Vioxx but am I correct in thinking that a few months back they were saying it was good to take to boost platelets?? I'm pretty sure it was, but with my mind.......

Last Monday I was told that if my husband did not respond to kidney dialysis (Prisma machine), he would not be transplantable and would of course, pass away. On Saturday they extabated him and yesterday he was removed from the dialysis machine (and peeing up a storm). Today they are talking about kicking his skinny ass out of ICU and into the transplant ward! What a difference a week makes!!!! I am overjoyed, filled with wonder and dancing in the rain. YAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
