Hi, Sorry so late responding. I was freezing throughout tx. I luckily had a heated throw. I was also given a homedics chair by my wonderful father-in-law and it was heated as well. So I understand completely what she is going through. Best wishes, Prayers and love, Cindee
if large doses of interferon can make you feel cold while on tx, it is posible that some susceptible people can have that side with the influx of their natural interferon battling hep c. doctors have not heard of MANY extrahepatic signs of hep c.
I one of those that has always been cold-natured even when others next to me are HOT. Once I started tx, however, I was very COLD all the time. Now that the weather has warmed outside, I seem to be back to near-normal........still cold when others are not but no longer freezing all the time.
Good luck to you and your wife. Please try to have patience with her. I know how miserable she must be being cold all the time.
I never felt cold b4 tx could be outside in 40 degree temps in short since tx started and terminated early havent been able to warm up in 75 degree temps wearing heavy tracks and a sweater indoors ..persevere ..and pray it may not help but it wont hurt.
be strong for your wife she ll need all the help you can give daryl
