Statins are processed in the liver and so is Incivek. I'm not quite sure if the contrandication is a result of the Incivek elevating the plasma concentration of the statin or the statin lowering exposure and loss of efficacy of the Incivek but it's one or the other.
I am cures Ty on Vytorin and will be starting therapy soon,

If you are asking if you can take Incivek and Vytorin together, the literature says no.

"The following drugs should not be used while you are taking Incivek: alfuzosin (Uroxatral), cisapride (Propulsid), pimozide (Orap), atorvastatin (Lipitor, Caduet), lovastatin (Mevacor, Altoprev, Advicor) or simvastatin (Zocor, Simcor, Vytorin), midazolam (Versed), triazolam (Halcion), sildenafil (Revatio) or tadalafil (Adcirca) when used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension, St. John's wort, rifampin (Rifadin, Rifater, Rifamate), ergonovine, ergotamine (Ergomar, Cafergot, Migergot), dihydroergotamine (D.H.E. 45, Migranal), or methylergonovine (Methergine)."
