update

Recently, I have been absent from this forum. An update and
introduction to all. I am a former(?) 1b who terminated tx
early  after 21 weeks due to  severe sx  and an allergic
reaction to the Procrit drug known as Eprex in Canada.I had
fully intended to restart tx this October, but a bx and bloods
done in July showed no damage AND no trace of the little buggers.
Consequently, further tests done earlier this month still show
no virus at 50 ppm.
As longtime members here will rememberI started a weekly post
called Friday funnies, as my contribution of giving back. A way
of making people smile or ROTFL  At first, I used parodies of
experiences folks had posted here. Thus we ended up with novel
storage solutions, thongs and hairbrush escapades etc. The best,
I think tho, was Sam Hall's swan escapades.Sam was taking a leak
beside a pond when a swan bit him on his little fella. The only
thing hurt was his pride. This led to  a novel title suggestion of attack ofthe **** eating swans and others. It was truly
Sam's swan schlong.
So in order to fulfil my need to cause you to laugh, I propose a Saturday sillies file I don't have the time to really follow all the posts daily, so email me at derailhcvat msndotcom. with silly tx  behaviour I will do my best to make some innocent humourwith them and post it on Saturdays And by all means add your own comments on the site   Daryl

Chev, Thanks for asking. It was a rough one, saying goodbye especially since we had to do it 4 different times. Everytime we thought he was leaving, they would send him home that night. Finally on Saturday they put them on the plane.(It is a good thing I am taking ADs.)

My daughter in law and grandbaby will be here Nov. 15th  for a month so I will be done with my meds and hopefully getting a little energy by then.

How are you feeling now post tx? Any major lingering sides?

Take care, stay in touch and thank you for all you have given.
Forever your friend
Kim

P.S.
Saw your sons picture on hot heps, What a handsome man you have.Surely you are a proud mom also.

Hi there Daryl,
I am so happy for you that words could not possible express the joy I felt at reading your post.  SVR - that is just terrific.  On top of making us all laugh you do so much for little children while you and Judy have so much to contend with yourselves.  People like you make me feel very humble indeed. I sincerely wish you the very best life has to offer.  Be happy  Daryl:).

Congratulations, Darryl; I'm glad your HepC oddyssey is over, you're clear, and do not have to go another round of tx.  This must put a huge grin on your face.
No more TX,
No more drugs,
No more needles,
No more..........
(darn, it's supposed to rhyme with drugs... shrugs? bugs? rugs?
let's go with...)
No more bugs!
Now, do you have new adopted grandkids to play with in your new place?  As long as you don't do any Neverland stuff... kids & swans, bad combination...

thank you all for the warm regards I can only pray that  I will not have to treat again.I would rather do 5 rounds of cancer chemo than have to go thru' the hell of HCV tx again even tho' I only did 21 weeks It felt like years.
Majneni Currently I have 5 gkids and a new one due in April and they do keep us busy.On top of this I have 4 year old twins.Ashley and Jessica, Emmy and Jake and Dakotah and Amber who have adopted us as grandparents we see the kids nearly daily ,no wonder there seems to be no time for stuff.
on top of this there is a children's early years center in town and I spend 2 mornings a week getting more baby fixes.but most of these kids are from broken families and need a good male figure around Like the saying it takes two to have kids but a community to raise them. so I do keep me busy
Judy is waiting on nuerosurgery and is in lots of pain, so that also is a concern. The kids visit and I keep them amused so Grandma doesn't get jostled too much. This will be her second neck operation. It is also why clearing has been a godsend
I still try to read the forum but there are days that go by when I just can't . I really have concern for all tho' and my  addy is open to anyone. I may be late in responding but I will
warm regards  Daryl

I think that is the midst of all the "funnies" there was an indication that your bllod is clear of the virus - is that right? If so, a big congratulations and my best wishes that you stay clear. Mike
