Compassion, Friends and Tx/ other post

I have not opened a thread in a long time; but today, I did notice that since I have been away from the forum, there has been alot of love and compassion being spread around.  I missed the begining of these matters; but I think, I can figure just how great of responce Tator got from all here.  I too, would have been glad to give up what ever would be needed.  For all the newcomers to this forum; this is what all these people here are really about.  Being there when you are in need. Yes, we have little spats, now and again, but in the long run all is put aside and all rally for you. This is just a wonderful place for support and friends. For, all of you who have shown your true colors lately; I applaud you for your compassion.  Where else, would anyone on this treatment get this kind of support.  I am very proud of all here and of this forum.

I thought we could use another thread open today; there is only one.  And, I think this subject will be a good disscussion.  Maybe get some to open up and feel more comfortable when first entering this forum.

All of you here are the BEST EVER!!!!!  We have a WONDERFUL bunch of people here.

Thanks, just for being the people you are; and for being there in all our times of feeling down and out.

Just have to say I agree with everyone.  The compassion and caring here is amazing, not to mention to knowledge and information everyone shares.  What a special group!

amommy -They let you have birthdays? Well I'll be. My house no chores on your birthday is a rule. Next week you ask them for a birthday party. If they tell ya you had one ...you tell em  ...sorry it's the meds, brain fog, ya don't remember so ya want another one. And the following week, you tell em again.

I picked up my friend at a 1/2 way house tonight. He watched me gettin outta my car at our meeting and said, 'dude, I was only gone 6 months, you move like you got OLD(and he's late 40s.) Bones are hurtin though this week. He asked if that's the meds(he has hep)I said I hope so-cause if this is permanent aging stuff I just might start contributin to my son's 'put Dad in a home fund.'

amommy--Glad to see you posting ,i was just asking in a thread above if any one heard from you.  it has been a few days since you posted.  If you can set up the site then that would be great, just would have to make sure everyone knows about it so we don't lose anyone.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!  My wife's birthday is Sat. and my twins birthday is Sunday, and the following week is my other son's birthday.  This is a busy month for me.
