New to The Forum

I'm new here, and don't have much computer skill, but am scheduled to begin treatment in about 10 days. I've already tried the chlorine treatment by lloyd wright, at the suggestion of a friend, and got no result. Is he a bad name in medicine? Can someone help with personal knowledge, please?

Yes he is a bad name in medicine. Anyone that tells you you can get rid of HepC from anything other than treatment is just trying to make money. There is only SOC, and the new drugs on the market.Unfortunately people just diagnosed look up HepC on the internet and finds these scammers right away. They prey on people like us that are uneducated and vulnerable.

More important, you get educated from your hepatologist. He is the only one you should be listening to. The people on this forum have been through tx and know the score. This illness
cannot be resolved from herbs, juices, chlorine etc. NOTHING but treatment.

Please stay on the forum, read and I wish you the best of luck with treatment. Any further questions you might have ask away..we have all been down the hepatitis road and many of us here are very knowledgeable being we are all living proof.
Again, BEST OF LUCK.

Hi there...lloyd wright has been around for many years  selling his wares to any one that will listen. Unfortunately he can not claim by clinical data even  one person with HCV  being able to eradicate the virus.  Buyer beware.

On a more positive note...congrats on starting  treatment.(that can work). Are you treating with one of the new meds just approved? .

Do you know your genotype and fibrosis status?

Good luck ..and welcome.
