DOUBLE SHOT...help

I mentioned yesterday that i did my shot on friday and i still am not seeing no red blotch...like i always see,,,,ive done lots of these shots and ive never had this happen...like i said before...there seemed like more that usual dribble from the needle tip when i attache it to the redipen...im thinking the pen maybe malfunctoned ...my question is, should i do the extra shot  i have a back up... ,just to make sure im getting fridays shot...has this happened to anyone, and i wonder if i do a double shot will it hurt me in anyway.....this is bugging me

Relax Dude. No offense but you seem way to obsessed with some things. I'm new to this and I already know that you don't get a red spot all the time. The first 5  shots I got from the trial nurse, 4 left red itchy marks about 4 days after shot, none the 5th shot.  You should practice what you preach, remember last week when I had an injection question and this was your helpful reply:

  "For Gods sake...just ram the damn thing in..dont worry about the angle or pulling back for blood ...you are not going to hit any veins or arties....its just under the skin into fat"

I have all the instrustions and videos how to shoot....its just when attaching the needle to the pen ,you have to quick and careful...when you start screwing the needle on the pen...you can lift it off again...or it will prime extra fluid out...thanx

After opening redipen, sit in slot.Wash hands first.Slot.You know how to push till you hear that click.Dribble will come out because of air.Mine came with two alcohol swabs.Instructions states after applying needle, wipe off tip of redipen.
Put needle on till you hear another click.After click, screw needle on.Wait five seconds, pick up and turn up and down, twice, NOT shaking.
Alcohol swab area, remove tip off the needle.Pinch skin, insert needle, let skin go slowly,push meds in, slowly.
After your sure redipen is empty,let needle sit in skin for the count of ten to be sure.
Remove,done, discard in your box.Clean up your mess.Pat yourself on back.Mine dripped one drop last Friday.It's ok.I think with you feeling it you got your dosage...

I think you should trust the expert on this. I'm sure can-do has more experience than the NP about the redipen.

Anyway, you will soon feel whacked over the head and you'll know that stuff is working.
