Hi slidemanThanks
Congragratulations on your SVR
That is great to hear!!
I too am TT, with type 1A. I was und at 4wks and still at 24wks. TT may have a determination for success with SOC outcome, but does not mean much with triple. Dont be too bummed about the TT you cant change that. Your SVR chances with triple are still very good.
Thanks everyone
I guess wishing I could change my TT phenotype is like wishing for Santa
Whoops hope I didn't ruin it for anyone :-)
Wishing all of you wonderful amazing people a very very Happy Holiday and Happy and HEALTHY NEW YEAR!
TT, CC, CT are DNA sequences. They can't be changed. They're simply part of your makeup and aren't caused by environmental factors. Certain genotypes may be more prevalent in a particular geographic area but I don't know about that.
Take care, Sherry
..Don"t know if you are registered with CCO or not . If so, go to this site and then go to the " Slides" not the " launch program " and there is some info. there you may find helpful. Scroll to the slide titled :
"SVR Rate BY HCV RNA Status (LLOQ vs. LLOD) for Boce & Tela "

Good info on phenotype and geno 1a and 1b on this site it is in the slide section just not the one pointed out but further down the page
Yes I think Vic is my choice also. I have PCT which cause major skin conditions and I don't want anything else to aggravate that stuff. Its painful. I have read too many folks on Incivik have too many skin conditions. Not going there

I believe vic was your choice follow the link and go to table 9 discusses phenotype and svr rates also look at sec 14 discusses geno 1a or 1b
I am lB also but never had the phenotype run. The Dr said it didn't matter I would need treatment regardless. I think on the next blood work I will ask him to run it just because. Sorry no answers here...wait for the smarties to come on and they will know.
Have a Merry Xmas Eve!
