Doctors in the Kansas City area?

Hi gang,

Been a while since I've even been on line much, let alone post anything.  I really have been worn out lately, so no new songs, no energy or inspiration.

I am Seeing Dr Eisenach w Consultants in Gastroenterology in KC MO. He

Your words have sure done a lot for me in the past, for which I greatly appreciate!!!  Pattie

Hi Kim,
I'm sorry you feel so weary, you have so much on your plate right now that I can't imagine how anyone could feel upbeat and positive in the same situation.  This isn't a permanent state  for you though, you do know that, don't you?  Something is going to give..  It could be as simple as looking at your daughter's wedding photos and remembering how much you enjoyed living her special day with her?  Maybe it will be meeting a great new Dr. who inspires you and gives you hope..  Whatever the break is, and whatever form it takes, one thing I know for certain is that it will happen.  When it does things will change for you and you will be singing again.  Until then, do whatever you need to do to take care of yourself.  Your posts have brought smiles and laughter to many of us, so don't ever give up...  tomorrow is another day.
Hang in there Kim -  the very best and strongest, positive thoughts are aimed right at you:).

So sorry to hear your story. With everything do did for all of us post TX'ers I wish we could return the pleasures you put up for all of us.  I don't have the talent you have. I can say that your Dr. sounds OK to me.  I agree with Chevy that you have the right to talk to other Dr. and or using the Pegassyst line to talk to them.  The ride is very hard. I'd say on Friday's, if that is when you take your shot, sing some of your songs you wrote for us and know how much they helped us.  Many times I would sit there singing and almost forget to take the meds. Laughter and positive attitudes go along way while on this ride. My prayers are with you. And the SVR bus has that seat waiting on you as many of the post TX'ers have stated.

Hey

Bummer that you are not doing so well. I think we all can look back at the suffering we went through on tx and some of us still go through post tx and it will make us stronger, better people and for you it will give you a lot of "eyedeas" for the songs.

I'm 7 months post tx. I'm dealing with hypothyroid, aches and pains. I also have some issues with my heart. New doc started me on 0.025MCG of Levothyroxine 7 weeks ago. At 4 weeks it brought me just under the the 4.67 max from 5.26 but doc was on vaction that week and fill in doc would not up the dose.

My point here is doc said hypothyroid had nothing to do with aches and pains but I am feeling much better now with these meds.I have been researching this and have found that aches and pains ARE a symptom of hypothyroidism. I don't have the links I have been reading but one was on a Mayo clinic site that listed aches and pains as a #1 symptom. You probably know all this already as you have been at this for a long while but wanted to try and help in return for all the inspiration you have given to us. Hang in there!

Hi Kim,,,Glad to see you back! Sorry you have been feeling bad and hope that you find you a good dr!  LOL I think if just anyone took a peek at medhelp and saw some of our posts,,,sides, bitching,,,Yep,,they would be running alright..haha
There must be something a dr can do to help relieve some of your pains,,,I know that must be so hard to operate with the fatigue and pains,,,Let us know how you do with your dr or if you find a new one...
