fibrosis methods

Regarding the fibrosis stage of your husband are you considering optional methods like FibroScan or ARFI? In Mexico are a good option for liver biopsy.

Hi it has been 3 years since I had a biopsy I am hoping I can find a place to have a fibroscan done in a year or so.  If not I guess I will have another biopsy.  I think we are supposed to get every 5 years, will have to check on that

Good luck

In Mexico there´re four methods to staging liver fibrosis: Biopsy, FibroTest (blodd test), FibroScan and ARFI(Acoustic Radiation Force Impulse) The last two are Elastography technics and very reliable. ARFI can be make it at the same time within a Doppler ultrasound. I already made the four tests
