My husband's fatigue has been pretty significant with all 3 rounds of therapy, and it has been tough because he has had to work full time during all 3 rounds. I think that the antidepressant really helps to make sure that the sleeping and fatigue doesn't turn into isolation and depression. Eating a healthy diet and walking outside, even if it's just for 10 minutes, to the best of your ability when you don't feel well, will also go a long ways toward helping with the fatigue. Also, if there's anything you can do to improve the quality of your nighttime sleep, that will help with daytime fatigue (e.g. anti itch medications, sleep aids, and other meds to manage side effects, etc.). The only other advice my husband's hepatologist has given us is rest as much as you can.
Good luck with your treatment.

Thank-you guys :) I'll keeps ya posted thank-all so much for taking the time to talk to me,
If you drink lots of coffee, and I mean *lots* of coffee, then you might end up like us in here, unable to stop posting in internet forums :o)!
Roflmfao!
and here I thought that was caused by too much INF...
Seriously tho Danni..Nothing much to add to Bills"s advice, best to chat with the doctor on Mon. about the fatigue and what to take or not, especially without knowing any extent of possible liver damage .
Will
Danni, we’re told that coffee has some value in helping prevent further scarring of the liver. Beyond that your doctor might have some thoughts; sometimes depression can cause debilitating fatigue too. Make sure when you talk with the doctor about this mention any meds you take now; some meds of course can be responsible for making us tired.
Even moderate exercise can often decrease fatigue; it’ll be one of the first things your doctor will recommend, probably. I realize that the tundra is starting to descend on Toronto this time of year, but still try to get out and walk a little when the weather permits.

Seriously though; speak with your doctor and see if they can offer some advice. Good luck-

my drugs of choice have always been exercise and coffee. there are two very expensive drugs called nuvigil and provigil that are used by MS patients to deal with extreme fatigue.
