IBS (Diarrhoea) and riba absorption

If someone has IBS diarrhoea (as i m facing loose stool issue, not so frequent but 1 time in 24 hours), Does riba get absorb through intestines completely?

yes riba gets absorbed thru intestines. try less fluid, and try some kaopectate.

Kaopectate has natural clay and apple pectin in it, and will slow the bowels.

It is an inexpensive overthecounter drug here, that mothers use for sick kids.

If it continues see your doc, you could become very dehydrated which could lead to complication with heart etc.  So make sure your doc knows and helps treat you.

I usually get a little loose bowels after each weekly shot...but it only lasts a day,

it is all the week. Sometimes it gets better and sometimes it is worst. i go to toilet 1 time in 24 hours but stool remain loose, sometimes shapless. i talked to Dc who gave me Despas which made me drozzi and giddy feeling. i had to stop it. My IBS is stress related and gets better whenever my depression comes down. Stress makes diarrhea worst and Diarrhea makes stress worst and i often stuck into this vicious circle. I tried ADs but it made me drozzi and started nausia, loss of appetite. This Loose stool is much more problem for me than HCV or Tx. What should i do?? After all i have to complete the tx and now im only on my 7th week. Blood results of end of 5th week shows im little anemic as my hgb is at 12.8.

Husband is currently UND after almost 3 months of tx. For the past few weeks, he's had diarrhea...all the time. I finally got him to a dr, who wanted stool samples to check for occult blood & infection.

Those results have all come back negative.  Dr suggested Immodium, which seems to be working.

I'm wondering if you should consider the above mentioned tests?
