Hepatitis C and Upper left abdominal pain

I was recently diagnozed with Hepatitis C.  I've also had pain in the upper left abdomen area which moves around - under rib cage, to the back, below the ribs, etc.  Could this be related to the Hep C and what is this a sign of?  I've had some x-rays done and they came back clear.

unlikely related to hep C, considering your liver is on the right side. you probably pulled a muscle. what did your Dr. say?

Maybe it is fibromyalgia (body aches and pains), which hep c people also suffer from.  Or it sounds more than likely that you have just twisted the wrong way, lifted something heavy etc which has caused the discomfort.
Usually we have the upper right quadrant pain with hepatitis c.

could be enlarged spleen? common with hepatitis c. this would be seen on an ultrasound or cat scan, don't think xray would show this.
