Glad you came out the other side and feeling better. Was 46 weeks your plan - how'd you arrive at that number? Another couple of weeks and you'll shake off the riba too.
Thanks for writing. It's interesting to read your experiences post tx. I just finished tx yesterday, and I feel very happy already - I'm just happy to be done - it's too soon to feel better from sides going because I only stopped meds yesterday. Take care and much joy in your new life.

yes by my typing you can still tell...I was originally going for 48 wks but due to issues(school/family etc, etc)with my children-17f/15m/13m i decided to quit at 46,never told the doc and seeing my labs today it looks like 48 wks anyhow,my wife just could not give the support that was needed afterall i take care of her and the children. My main whiny complaint during this treatment was"who's going to take care of me" found out no one really, just was feeling like i had the flu all the time and that can wear you out.My older son said i'm like my old self already, energetic etc and could tell the difference already.

I have to get that darn computer up this weekend. Pray I find all my discs! Since it's your last day tomorrow...I need to get online to say congrats! But know in my heart if I don't that I am SURE THINKING OF IT!
I can't believe time has gone by. Don't be worried about stopping the meds. You have been SVR for a long time and it ain't coming back, no way. You ARE CURED. And that means that chapter of your life is over and now...ONLY fun stuff ahead!!!
:)
Congrats on making it. Everything is in your favor for SVR. I know it, nygirl knows it so you know we both can't be wrong. You not being SVR is like beagles not chasing silly wabbits. Ani't gonna happen. Best to you my friend.
It was good that your doc treated you (3a) more like a Geno 1 - it probably benefited you in the long run. Three teenagers, even when in the best of health and conditions, I'm sure is a handful. Getting through tx with all the other demands in your life must be very satisfying. If there is a good thing about hcv and tx is that it's so demanding that getting through it demonstrates that you have the strength that you can muster when you need it. It's difficult for me to congratulate people who are just starting but I'm grateful to see those who finish standing - even if they're a little wobbly. Congratulations!
congrats, you made it. Thanks for sharing. We love good news on this board. Best going forward.
EJR: Congratulations!! And thanks for sharing your "recovery" to date. I've been riba free for 4 days now and still feel very much "on drugs". Patience!
CanDo: So happy to see you. Been wondering how you are.
Sounds like you overcame a lot to get through tx. We all like to be babied, and it seems that wasn't an option for you. Congrats on your UND. And here's to your continued SVR.
Congrats on making it. Have no idea how you did it with 3 teens. I went bonkers with mine and I was not in tx. Keep us posted on your follow up blood work.
Did you figure out a way to get bx results while doc is on vacation?
Congratulations. Sounds like your on your way to the promissed land.
FYI, I was a nightly ambien guy. I stopped tx 12 weeks ago, and just let the ambien taper off by itself. It took about a month before I wasn't using it at all.... but I didn't push myself to stop, I just let the need abate on its own, which it did.
Congratulations! I hope to be walking in your moccasins soon with SVR on the horizon!
You are probably off the site now but the nurse called me today. All I got out of her was you were rated mile to moderate. I really won't know the numbers until I talk with the doctor on the 3rd of July. My guess is a 2 or 3.
