I thought you meant you were starting your first shot, Friday. Sorry. About the biopsy, it's not that bad. Feels like you've been punched in the ribs and is a bit sore for a couple of days but that's about the extent of it. I had an endoscopy the same day as the bipsy and i had far more problems with the aftereffects of that - sore throat, pharyngiitis, etc. The worse part of the biopsy was the application of the local anesthesia - that stung for a few seconds. The biopsy itself was two quick staple-gun-like punctures about a minute apart. It wasn't the most pleasant thing in the world but they give you pain meds in the recovery room and then keep an eye on your for three or four hours to make sure there's no bleeding. Then you go home and go to sleep.
Good Luck Friday.

Friday's my first day, too.
Good luck to both of us. Hopefully, the anticipation will be worse than the reality.

I had a bx about 3 weeks ago. It was really nothing. I had to lay down all day and rest. The next day I was a little sore and laid low. But, i was driving and walking. I jsut took it easy. By the 3rd day, I felt nothing. I wouldn't lift anyhting heavy for a few days but it really is pretty painless nad a very easy recovery.
