How to belittle contributons Cuteous

I quote a one liner in an earlier thread coutersy of Cuteous
"Don't you remember "sam"? He tried his hand at the forum a few months back."
Yeah i opened up a lot about thing's that were happenig to me during tx and obviously it did not appeal to you and so you think it ok to undermine my opinions now. If you don't like them just pass them over or make a serious counter response. Don't be so rude.

Quick question for you: as a stage three, what did your biopsy state? what was the final diagnosis?? Mine said that moderate fibrosis, then in a note below, it said foci suspicious of bridging. I am curiuos, as I see on many staging charts that stage 3 is said to have severe fibrosis, and bridging. Am I corract on this?

Take your time and see if you can read each line aloud !   Without a mistake.  The average person can't do it.

This is this cat
This is is cat
This is how cat
This is to cat
This is keep cat
This is an cat
This is old cat
This is person cat
This is busy cat
This is for cat
This is forty cat
This is seconds cat

Now go back and read the THIRD word in each line from the top down and I
bet'cha you can't resist passing it on.

That's nice .now kids place nice is what my 104 year old gramma says.she's lost most of her cognitive abilities and talks to my gkids like they were my sisters and me at a very early age.I cant not take the gkids there tho.cause its their great/great/great granny . definitely not an everyday thing. It is thru her insight more than any other that has given me the sense of caring humor compassion and concern. Guys, my encouragement flows to you for your upcoming dragonquest, may the BBQ be ready for those damn dragonribs. good luck, think always the good thoughts and God is at your side as are all on the forum

Rev: I am curiuos to your situation, as I fear my mother to have chirosis. Wow, 1992? How has your quality of life been? I see from your posts, that you work and go about everyday life. Man, that many tx's, you are very determined, and yes, it is working!! My Dr. says that the interferon actually produces some form of collagen or something that actually attacks the scar tissue and eats at it. In the process regenerating new healthy cells.

Tdub: I am the young one here, but not the least challanged! I too am geno 1a, low VL, but moderate fibrosis. I did my first shot on May 21, and was pulled following week. I recommend doing as much research as possible, so you know exactly what you are getting into. Being prepared and understanding the sx's is key. I had no sx's for first 3 or 4 days, then started vommiting uncontrolablly.I am going to tx again, but am going to face it with all the ammunition I can gather before hand. Many people breeze through with no problems. The only way to find out is try, as there is a good percentage of cure. Hope it helps, and best wishes

Tdub,
I know that you are scared I am too I start my tx this coming friday the questions and concerns are overwhelming at times.
This has really been a great forun for information some of the people here are the greatest. Just like anywhere though you will find that there are those that you really connect with and those you dont.
I am the same geno as you are and honestly I have seen ppl that have extreme sides and some that seem to have none at all. If you are not already drinking tons of water start. It flushes out the liver and that is a good thing.
Please dont take the above comments to heart, I try to not even read them get all the info you can on hcv information is power. I hope to hear from you again.
I will let all know how first shot goes

Mike,
best of luck to you once tx stops and thank you again for all your help. I hope you will check in with us still.

No more room below to respond to your "duck" comment.....

Hey, I wish my duck would try to sell me insurance!  With an HCV diagnosis, it sure ain't easy to convince anyone else to cover me!

But you're right...ducks can be mean.  But mine's a sweetie.

I guess this is an okay place to break in and say thank you to everyone for the HAPPY BIRTHDAY well wishes. I'm feeling pretty well these days - just scared of stopping tx and relapsing but aren't we all? If it's meant to be it will be and I'll deal with whatever comes along - we humans always do. You people are really fantastic and you've meant so much to me during my fight with the virus. I wish you all the very best. God bless you all. Mike

Since there are NO other choices that will actually kill The Dragon, the choices are limited. These meds effect all of us differently. Don't let your fear of the meds overcome your fear of the disease. This disease can kill you.....a little arguement won't.

                    LEANING OVER
One evening a family brings their frail, elderly mother to a nursing home and leaves her, hoping she will be well cared for. The next morning, the nurses bathe her, feed her a tasty breakfast, and set her in a chair at a window overlooking a lovely flower garden. She seems fine, but after awhile she slowly starts to lean over sideways in her chair. Two attentive nurses immediately rush up to catch her and straighten her up. Again she seems fine, but after awhile she starts to tilt to the other side. The nurses rush back and once more bring her back upright. This goes on all morning. Later the family arrives to see how the old woman is adjusting to her new home. "So, Ma, how is it here? Are they treating you all right?" they ask. "It's pretty nice," she replies. "Except they won't let you fart."

Sometimes you just gotta let folks do what they have to do.....

listen to ellisg, IT IS rare happenings, it is best to read the  threads on a daily basis where harmony and humor prevail, and to get a better picture of how the sides affect each one of us. Not every one gets severe sides, they seem to be managable for most.
I believe it is the riba that might cause the short fuses,  or enhanced our little personality glitches.
Your fight for a cure should be based on what ellisg mentioned, not a hissing spat.

Be well

Don't let the bitterness effect you. It's rare, thank goodness.

You should just let your Doctor decide on treatment, based on your level of liver fibrosis, along with your viral load count.
Your side effects are 90% manageable. GET RID OF THAT DRAGON!

Good morning all. I'm new to this forum and have just found out I have Hep-C G-1A and was wondering if some of what I just read might be sx of tx? It seem pretty bitter and seeing I can already give Michael Moore a run for his money at being cynical, I'm wondering if Interferon would be a real bad choice for me.
I wish the best for all of you and please don't think I'm being a smart a$$. I'm truly concern about the sx of tx.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved that. I also thank you for having the good sense not to comment or get involved in all the **** that came before. I, for one, don't care for any of it, and won't read it.

Welcome to the third race at the Honeymoon is Over Downs!!!

They're at the gate... and they're off!

Jumping out in the lead is Romance and Affection,
with Domestic Bliss in close behind.

It's Romance and Affection and Domestic Bliss.

Here comes Marriage Vows followed by Immediate Child.

Romance and Affection falling off quickly.

Mortgaged Up the Ass overtaking Domestic Bliss.

And here comes Nasty Attitude followed by More Children and Drinking Heavily.

Coming down the back stretch, Drinking Heavily
moving out in front of Mortaged Up the A$$. But coming up strong on the outside is Credit in Shambles.

It's Credit in Shambles followed by I Don't Give a Sh*t, Nasty Attitude and Up Yours Keep.

Up Yours Keep is challenging for second going into the clubhouse turn.

Passing on the rail is I Don't Give a Sh*t taking
the lead, followed by the Friggin House, You Cook
Like Sh*t and I screwed Your Brother.

Here they come spinning out of the turn.

I Don't Give a Sh*t still in front.
Up Yours Keep challenging for the lead.
Up Yours Keep and I Don't Give a Sh*t are neck and neck.

AND DOWN THE STRETCH THEY COME!!

Up Yours Keep is pulling away from I Don't Give a Sh*t by a length.

Coming up strong is I Am Outta Here and passing the pack is The
Friggin House.

And at the wire, it's Up Yours, Keep The Friggin House, I Don't Give a Sh*t, and I Am Outta Here.

I pondered long and today as to whether or not to comment on the supposed? or imagined belittlement. My,my we seem to have very fragile egos I guess or maybe just very thin skin courtesy of the riba.Whatever we have said or done is now in the past. Go on ,turn the page life is way too short to get into a **ssing
match over hurt feelings .Bloody hell you are adults, so act that way. The negativity may be enough to turn away newbies when they need it the most Remember , Ifelt bad about having no shoes until I met a man who had no feet. And by the way Sam, that post after your opener is really good and thought provoking, as well as being what is cutting edge info for each of us. Ihope you aren't upset that I'm trying to either patronize or flatter you, because I'm not "VIVE LE DIFFERENCE"
It would be boring if we were all the same, N'est pas?.....
later all and have a good one

hahahaha, I had entirely forgot about the "lashing" out comment, thanks for bringing it to my attention. I have more immediate concerns in my life than getting into an argument, I was simply agreeing with Sam with what he posted. Peace

I guess the fact that I made a comment on your lashing out to the members that do not respond to every question posted in a timely manner really got to you.
Everyone here is entitled to opinions and we stated that fact many times over, NO ONE here is more valuable, has more rights or knows more, we all have contributions that stem from our personal experiences and they are valuable to some, but not all.
Here we complain, whine, humor, etc. and it is acceptable by most as long as it is not extremely offensive, insulting or abusive to any particular person.  I try hard, but since I usually make short direct statements, it is easy to read them the wrong way.
ny here become protective (as Scott and David can attest) and take it upon themselves to shield fellow members from perceived unfair attacks.
If you were to make that same statement, I would address it again,  so don't expect me to "skip" them over.  I might try Honey's diplomatic technique in doing so, but can't guarantee the results.
TY for letting know how you really feel.  Any others you want to address besides the ones that don't know it all and answer your questions expeditiously?
I do not think I am a spokesperson for any one but myself, so please do not make any more blatant statements.
stay well in your quest for a cure

Once upon a time there was a humorous, enigmatic at times,  forum member.  He kept many of us laughing, at times shocking us with some of his statements.  Some stormy weather hit the forum and many  members were washed away. some were able to swim back and stayed firm, others were not heard from for a long time and some of us wondered if  some unknown event had banned them away.  Somehow this lad made his way back wearing a different disguise and suddenly rebanished again.
again, it was wondered if the event had recurred that banned him the first time, but it was hard to find any news from the local broadcasters.
Recently, something in the forum reminded me of the fellow, and, I began to think that if the chap ever returned, he might this time want to keep a low profile and I would not jeopardize his attempt at preventing a banish, if that was what happened the other times. I would make ambiguous, neutral statements that would only make sense to the few witnesses left.
How a statement like the "oneliner" be interpreted as rude or undermining, I am still trying to figure it out.  i read it straight 2 or 3 times, I am now going to try and read it backwards, on my head,  and under water, in an attempt to understand it.
perhaps is a cultural difference, or emotions are still extremely raw from past events?  In any case, I wish a little cold water would reach the hot spots and soothe the burning. if this gets misinterpreted also, then I wish for the BIG CHILL!

ps; interesting  article

I have to agree with you, Cuteous definately has her beliefs as to what is excepted on this forum and what is not. On more than one occasion she has let me know that my feelings are unacceptable and not appreciated. On 04-June-04, C7 she took it upon herself to speak for the masses, don't know if you all read that and concur, but she often views herself as spokesperson for this forum. How 'bout you skip my postings too, Cutie?????? Have a good day Sam
