Mike I just wanted to say I am so happy that you are SVR!! I am also thrilled you treated with Harvoni.
There have been some new warning on the V-Pack that just came out recently
about it hurting some livers
Congratulations!!
Dee
As I mentioned I had a lot of health problems I contribute to the HEP C for many years. I believe I lived with it for 30+ years. When I finally realized that I had HEP C, I was referred to an gastroenterologist. He had some blood tests done and my Viral Load was very very high. I had a biposy done and supposedly did not have cirrhosis, but I believe moderate scarring etc. I never had a fibroscan done at all.
Congrats Mike
Great to hear good news on here.I have 2 more days left of my 24 weeks of harvoni and it has been a godsend. My doctor said that I can heal enough where I could go back to stage 3 from stage 4 and live a normal lifespan as long as I don't relapse again.Another great thing is that I am functioning normal again sexually.Thank goodness and thank harvoni!
Thanks for the update. It's great to hear how people fare post treatment with the new drugs.
What was your liver condition like just prior to treatment?
First congrats on making it that far. I did it for 12 weeks and it was a piece of cake. I also did it without Ribivirin, but was very treatment experienced. I found that I reached svr two weeks ago, and I don't feel bad at all, I hope you feel better soon. I'm not sure it's the Harvoni that is making you feel that way, make sure you tell your Doctor how you feel before he orders the final lab work, sometimes hep c messes with your thyroid.
Dear Mike , congratulations on completing your tx and thank you for the encouraging post .
great to hear about the improvement and am sure things will get even better with time .
i wish you well
God bless and warm regards .
Congrats on completing treatment. Actually, all you have to pass is the 12 week post treatment PCR to be considered cured. So glad you are feeling better. Enjoy it.
