Day 1: Sofosbuvir (Sovaldi) plus Daclatasvir

Greetings everyone!

53 yo female, coinfected with HIV here. Genotype 2. Treatment naive. Non cirrhotic. Infected about 30 years.
This is day one of the clinical trial.  I was randomized to 8 weeks as opposed to 12 weeks.  Daclatasvir dose is 90mg, (based on the HIV meds I take); Sofosbuvir is 400mg.

It's now 8 hours after my first dose. Had a full day of work and happily, I feel nothing side effect-wise and hope that continues.

Anyone else here participating in this study? Would love to hear how it's going for you.

All the best to all of you.

I am in a study for tx of Hep C . But it doesn't look like were taking any of the same meds. Either way I'm halfway through and currently virus is at -25 down from 2.4 million. Not to many side effects except from RIBA causing me insomnia and irratibilty.

Congrats on getting into to trial and I wish you good luck.

Keep us posted on your progress!
