how do you read RNA

need help in reading blood test: hep C RNA Quantitative PCR
HCV RNA IU/ML= 3320000
HCV RNA Log IU/ML 6.52
I know this sound very heigh I'm going to my doc. nex week and ask for a higher dose of peg/reb, I really want to kill this **** I'm not given up I'm in for a big fight and want to come on top

he emailed me when he thought I was not clearing, but I have his suggestion at home. I will copy it and post it later today.

I'm at work, but my mind is going nuts with all this also my AFP is 7.6 some were I read the range is 0-8.9 but my dr. wants my to have a scan, i do smoke and they say that can bring it up, who really knows

Looks like your AFP is with normal range so that is good.  The other test you stated just shows,,,,,active hep c with a viral load of 3 Million virus which yes,,,,if you are not on full dosage,,,You need to be.  Thats what I don't understand is why didn't your dr put you on full dosage?

I will ask him a lot of qoestions thanks to everyone here and I will tell him to put me on a higher dose. I want to nock this thing out I'm 57 and I think I got this in vietnam around 67-68
always gave blood to the redcross until 1989 when the sayed I had hep c I got a biopsy and had scaring they said to just monitor I should had gone on some med then but waited
