Are there any symptoms showing end is near for liver cancer patient?

My bro has this terminal liver cancer. He is getting weaker day by day.He can't hardly eat-no appetite and he is always tired and dozing off where ever he sits. His eye color has gone yellowish, his feets are swollen and so is his belly area. Are these indications that the end is near???I am so worried and needs some feedback here.

Well, there's end stage and then there's end stage with a disclaimer.

I've been end stage for so many years b/that doesn't mean  anything!

I've outlived many peers who were not as sick and outlived friends w/much better health care options-incl transplants.

I've out lived people who had no 'terminal' dx and I've outlived relatives just to spite then!!

I was told I wouldn't live thru several nights and I even entered the white tunnel and came back!

I was W/ a man who found that the line 'she's dying' worked great until I didn't die.  and boy were those sluts pissed I just wouldn't die.

So instead of looking for the end, look  @ the present.

I know I'm still ticked off @ all the funeral plans made for me on  'my behalf'!

Your loved one is not a science project and there is no time table on mortality!!  altho, sometimes the idiots around us makes us wanna kill someone and it ain't the 'terminal' one!!

Im sorry to hear you and your  brother are going through this, Im sure it is a very difficult time.
I would suggest you contact your local chapter of Hospice care, they are extremely helpful in times like this and they can help you. Give them a call and tell them what you told us here.

Have you spoken to his doctor? The doctor should be able to provide him with medications that can help to control his syptoms and his pain. If he can't eat, maybe you could use nutritional liquid supplements so he can get nutrients in. I'd check with the doctor, he should be able to advise you on that.

Your brother is very lucky to have such a loving, caring sister. I wish you strength and courage in this difficult time. Take care dear, see if you can get some help and support from the doctor and Hospice.
