Don't borrow trouble, happyhepper, life will throw enough of that at us.  And all any of us can do is deal with problems as they come up.  Have your test tomorrow and put it out of your mind till you know whether or not you have this to deal with.

Gosh, you are stubborn!  The viral load you had in 2009 showed that you definitely had hep C then.  In about 20% of people the immune system is able to fight if off and they do not have hep C though the antibodies will always show up in blood tests.  If, after 6 months of initial infection you still have a viral load your body did not fight it off and will never be able to fight it off without treatment.  The only way to know is by having another PCR.  If there is any viral load you have a chronic infection.  If there is no viral load you are no longer infected and would have to be exposed again to develop an infection.  As you are having a viral load test tomorrow, you will know in two weeks or less whether or not your Hep c is chronic or cured.  Asking the same question over and over will not give any of us here the psychic ability to let you know ahead of the test results.
