This is a little ls late, so I hope you enjoyed your special day, and a wish for you to enjoy many more birthdays to come:)
Take Care, berlynn
Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you all have a wonderful day. It's my birthday today so I got some nice attention and gifts from my family this morning. The bad thing is I have one of the worse headaches I've had since on tx. I just don't want to tell anyone and have them feel bad for me today. We are going to relatives. Hopefully it's go away soon. Have a good day. LL
Just wanted to say thanks for all the support I get from the board and a Happy Turkey Day to all.
And though they will never read this, I'd like to say thanks to all of those folks at work and who I've met that have been understanding and supportive without being judgemental. And to all those people who have reacted to us as if we carried the plague, or were unclean, I'd like to show there are no hard feelings by giving you the bird!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Kim
I hope that THIS years Thanksgiving goes better than last years did while I was on tx...........
AN ODE TO THE THANKSGIVING TURKEY
The turkey shot out of the oven,
And rocketed into the air.
It knocked every plate off the table,
And partly demolished a chair.
It ricocheted into a corner,
And burst with a deafening boom.
Then splattered all over the kitchen,
Completely obscuring the room.
It stuck to the walls and the windows.
It totally coated the floor.
There was turkey attached to the ceiling,
Where there'd never been turkey before.
It blanketed every appliance.
It smeared every saucer and bowl.
There wasn't a way I could stop it.
That turkey was out of control!
I scraped and I scrubbed with displeasure,
And thought with chagrin as I mopped,
That I'd never again stuff a turkey
With popcorn that hadn't been popped.
Just don't try to get too fancy while on tx......Keep it basic
Hold on, I've got turkey in one hand and trying to stuff pumpkin pie in my mouth, with the other!!
Out of my 46 Thanksgiving days, this one seems to be the best!
HAPPY TURKEY DAY TO YOU ALL
I am giving thanks to my family on this forum,
Thanks for always being here, especially the 'oldies'
To all the "Newbies" you found a great place.
Don't forget to drink lots of water with all the food today!
From our Alaskan Home to each of you, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Birthday Layla.

Don't really feel thankful. continuing with TX but feel it is for nothing except ruining my overall health. Didn't clear yet at shot 28. Sooooooooo, been bummed for sure BUT did realise I am grateful for the chance and choice to at least try to do in the dragon. It could be worse, don't want to think how, but know it. Happy Thanksgiving and try to be grateful for the goood stuff, if you can. Love and luck to all brave, hopeful souls.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAYLA !!!
(my daughters name is Layla also :)
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Just a few things I am thankful for.
1) For God giving us life. (even through the hard times like now)
2) For all of our brave military men and women who give me the
freedom to write this. (Special prayers to all of you and
your families)
3) For all of my family and friends (and my extended family, all
of you here at this forum)
4) For medical technology that is not only helping so many
people get cured of diseases, and continue life when the
odds are stacked against us, but for giving me the opportunity
to see pictures of my first unborn grandchild (It's a BOY !!)
May each and everyone one of you have a wonderful day today and have your own special reasons for being Thankful. Kim
