3rd shot-slight leakage

I know I've seen this answered before but I guess I'm looking for reassurance. I did my 3rd shot just a while ago and noticed a small bit of the interferon on my leg at the injection site. In fact I must have move slightly while holding down the needle guard ( the ProClick injector). I'm not one to freak out but will this make any significant difference? I'm starting week 3 and still having minimal sides (mostly fatigue and some anxiety creeping in). Minimal to the point that I've wondered if this is working. Like I said, hoping for reassurance as everyone knows this is a huge commitment. Thanks.

Thanks for all of the reassurances! My anxiety over this is obviously one of the sides. I've really been on edge lately to make sure I do this therapy perfectly. After settling down a bit and reading the responses I feel much better and reminded myself that I do make mistakes. I had that ramped up feeling when I did this and my mind was racing with thoughts that I screwed up. Looking forward to being in that SVR group one day! Thanks again!

Hey there, as everyone above has said, we all make a mistake now and then, sometimes I would have a small amount spill out, I am SVR
As you can see everyone is behind you
Best of luck

For what it's worth, if it applies, my interferon dosage was cut in half (180 to 90) for a long time while on tx because my platelets went so low.  My tx was done in Sept and I achieved SVR.  I don't think you have a thing to worry about. I also forgot a Riba dose at one point so I know how you are feeling, but evidently we can slip up one time. Try not to worry.  :)

I shot about a fourth of one of mine down my leg one time. I was shaking and sweating so hard I just couldn't help it. I am SVR now. The goal is to get it all and it is best, but one little slip wont wreck your tx.
