hep c

I was tested for hep c and the result was s/co 0.7, my dr tell me it was negative but I conrcern about it because back in 2008 I was tested too and it was 0.2.

Hi Lelita--

These results appear to be HCV signal to cut off ratios; this is part of a HCV antibody test.

The values 0.7 and 0.2 are very low, and aren’t suggestive of exposure. There shouldn’t be any further action required on your part. For more info, here’s a page from the U.S. CDC on HCV antibody testing:

Honestly I dont know but I am sure someone will and will answer your question.  You dont have to post it again - some of us are just less scientifically minded then others........you just got the slow ones of us today but one of the smart guys will be on soon.
