LOL that is what I thought too "where are they then and why cant I have some now?"

This is preliminary research but it does point to some interesting possible future solutions. I had another interesting article on protein "silencing" but I cant find it for the life of me. What I find attractive is that drugs are not involved but just snafuing the process does the trick. Interesting to watch what they discover with this.

I understood it to mean that they have isolated proteins that are needed by the HCV virus to replicate and if they block or "silence" them the virus is unable to replicate and the virus becomes undetectable.

I think it means if you screw around with the hcv viral genes enough, you'll either find a cure, or at least have your work reviewed by someone who can't write very well.
