I ate an omelet, a hamburger and various kind of candies including licorice and oh yeah...pretzels. I figure the way I used to drink; anything I eat cannot be as bad for me.
keep eating!...it takes time to get your strength back....i craved burgers....i still do but not as bad at 1.5 years post tx....before tx i was eating very little red meat...now its red meat...cod fish....turnips...and eggs we have our own chickens...have fun eating!
I like watching what people say about eating and saw your answer.
I read Pegasus drug warning and didn't see inflammation of the legs. It's like
edema, weakness in weird places. Like inside the thighs. It's a different kind of inflammation. I'm questioning if its even related. And what did you
eat today? :)
when I put a little pressure on them, they feel shaky/unstable. Like I just can't do what it was I wanted to do. No problem walking, but any more stress and it just doesn't want to work.
What else do you feel in your thighs. I get you they feel weak but do they feel shaky or unstable. Sore? Crampy?
my hubby still on treatment but he was same like star said once you havent got to force feed yourself when on incviek your appetite seems to return he said its nice that things taste as they should not sour or metallic. just enjoy enjoying food again also congrats on finishing the treatment best wishes for the future
It is really the weak thighs that have me concerned.
Not to worry, the samething happenend with me too. I wanted to eat everything that tasted good. But since a month has passed it has slowly gone back to normal. I think when your on the incviek it kills your taste buds and food seems like blah. Just be happy you have an appetite.
Is that what that is.....a food honeymoon. I've taken up cooking too. Ok
then got go take the pie out of the oven.
I'm not even one week off treatment and my taste buds are starting to work again. I'm hungry all the time. I lost almost 20 lbs. during triple therapy w/Incivek and couldn't eat much. What I did eat I could hardly taste. Now I think about food all the time and I'm spending a couple hours a day cooking meals to satisfy my cravings. I'm keeping the actual food intake to a reasonable amount because I don't want to gain a lot of fat during my food honeymoon.
My thighs are weak also. I just got tested for the second time confirming
I have hypothyroidism (low thyroid). I didn't have it before treatment.
