I bought a digital voice recorder at walMart for 29.95 I have just about programed.If I want her to Advocate has offered to come in and take notes for me.I will also ask for a summary to be sent to my PCP to help interpret any thing.
I am on the first leg of Journey...I am in Wenatchee.Bone tired and swollen from the short trip but I made it thus far.Hope I can walk by the time I get to the clinic tommorrow.Thank You everyone for encouragement.

Knowing a little bit about your history, of having cirrhosis, I'm adding a few questions for you. I'm sure the hepatologist you see will have many things to tell you.

I suggest you bring along a pen and paper to write things down so you don't have to try and remember everything later. If someone is going with you, perhaps they can help.

How advanced is my cirrhosis ?
Please check my ammonia levels and let me know if I have encephalopathy.
What labs do I need and how often should I have them  done ?
Do you suggest I take any supplements and if so what ?
Do you suggest any dietary restrictions ?

I sent you a list of questions that Orphaned Hawk has posted in her journal.  It also contains some questions that Hector SF recommended for the first appt with a hepatologist.  I sent them to you via private message because med help has a word count limit for posting here on the threads.
