Had a liver panel done most everything came up reactive ( nonreactive) my signal cut off is 20.30<1.00 H what does this mean exactly. I'm recovering from colon cancer also
what does this mean?
Hep C Virus Ab <0.1
s/co ratio
negative 0.9
I agree with alagirl. Plus you cannot discern how much liver damage you have with that information you need a liver biopsy which is a quickly relatively painless procedure for that which we've all had.
See a good hep doctor.
If you are talking about the antibody test being at 11.0, it means you need to follow up with a specialist and get a viral load and genotype, and have them assess you for any liver damage.
if my nuber are <11.0 hepc virus ab what exactly does that mean as far as liver damage
The screening test check for antibodies which everyone has. If you are <1, you are neg for Hcv antibody.
If your possible exposure was >3 months ago, STOP TESTING,STOP WORRYING. You are neg and were never exposed to Hcv.
Don't become a 'worried well.'
