Hi Team , anyone had blurry vision post treatment ?

Hi team,
Was holding off to post till I had my 4week pcr which I should know the results at the end of next week. I started to feel better right after tx was over it was like being a person I did not even know. I began to get my strenghth back but noticed that mental clarity is bad that I would  forget right in the middle of conversation with someone what I was saying.
Today I admitted myself in the E.R. for blurry vision. I noticed it tuesday at a baseball park I normally had great vision looking at billboards far away but now they are blurry also reading steet signs is blurry. No bad news from the E.R. after a battery of test.
I was wondering if anyone else on tx. has had any promblems with vision. My best to all.

I completed 48 weeks of SOC and have vision blurred worse from before. I'm over 50 now and could be related but noticed a drop during and after tx. Im in final stages trying to get in VX group... just waiting results of bio

as stated above,i am 6 months post-trx and i have same symptoms as you..joint aches, esp shoulders, neck, leg.feet&back;occasionally my hands&arms...not sure this is solely a manifestation of trx, probably combination of factors...i also have near chronic fatigue and much less stamina than pre-trx..consequently??- depressed & a bit  frustrated, sometimes very unsocial...!!! i am happy to be DONE and i am not very eager to seek anymore medical help-i have waitingroomitis for sure! that said i am doing physical therapy and seeing an orthopedic...And i am contemplating a serious massage routine..

Hi Tony,

Congrats on finishing tx!

I did #20 shot yesterday (180 pegasys/ 1200 riba). I have blurred vision now. I thought something was wrong with my eyes but when my Doc sent me for an eye test my vision was almost perfect. During my treatment I've had a problem with my eyes having the characteristics of an allergic reaction so I began taking Benadryl, it helped but the blurriness has remained ... mine is trying to see up close, reading for instance, reading a pill bottle is impossible. Best of luck.

Hi Tony
I finished TX 2 weeks ago and still my vision is blurry, I have constant aches in my shoulder and joints..Still feel kinda tired. Don' want use anymoere Ibuprofen cause I feel it damaged my liver more during tx.
I'm waiting for my 3 month PCR cause I was left with HYPOthyroidism. Taking one pill a day until my next bloodwork in a month.
I hope this will go away after a couple of months, but right now I feel I took IFN yesterday :-( A ouestion to posttreaters..Does this feeling goes away ever?
If any can plz recommend something other than meds to avoid this.

Regards

Scuba

i am 6 months post and yes my vision seems permanently damaged...prior to trx i did not need reading glasses unless lighting was poor...maybe the trx accelerated ageing process? not a terrible trade-off for UD....GOODLUCK

Hi Tony,

So glad to read that you've finished tx. Man, waiting on those test results rattles the nerves.

My husband suffered from Ocular Migraines during TX. These affected his periphial vision, sort of like fireworks going off in his eyes. He also had blurred vision, and found that his eyesight was significantly impacted by TX. Before tx it seemed like he could see forever, but now he has difficulty seeing the same distance as before, and he also has to wear reading glasses.

I sure hope you get the all clear on your 4 week PCR. I'll be watching for your post giving us the good news.

Be well,
Debbe
