High Enzyme counts

After my Pegysus/Cogagus treatment for a HCV diagnosis, my doc informed me that my enzymes count would return to normal.  Unfortunately, they have not normalized and now I have to wonder about why.  The virus is gone but the counts stay high.

Anyone had the same experience and willing to comment why?

There are other reasons for enzymes to be high, such as fatty liver. Give it some time, and talk with your doctor.

How long have you been through w/ tx. Sometimes it takes up to 6 mos. for the tx. drugs to  get out of your system and enzymes can fluctuate during this time.   Hope this helps.   Joni
