Hi,

This is Mudassar Aziz.

I am 37 year, Male and writing from Paksitan.
From couple of month i had sever pain on the right side of my Abdomen. I cosult with doctor and he adviced me to get test the SGPT level. I tested it and the result was 141 where as the Normal Range is 15-43.
After that test doctor further advice me to go for Liver funstion test and Hepatitis B&C test which were NON-RECATIVE
To just ensure i got the b&C checked form other lab the results were same.
Doctor then advice me to go for Ultrasound and teh Liver size was 16.7cm where as per Doctor Nomra Size in 15.6 CM.
I Start taking medicine suggested to Doctor and after 2-3 week time my SGPT level cam down to 73 from 141 and Liver SIze came down to 16.3 CM.
Doctor sugegst me to take medicine for couple of days more and then stop taking the medicine and get your SGPT checked again..... Increidible things is instead of reducing SGPT from 73 it jumped to 131................ and Live size was remain 16.3CM
I am very much worried about the agian increase of my SGPT........ Can you please is it really denagerious and what should i do to over come to bring SGPT down......

I never drink al cohol / Never smoke........

Thanks. No i did not ge tested for Hepatitas A?

there is no vaccine for Hepatitis C but there is for A & B.

By the way did you get tested for Hepatitis "A" ?

I never used Alcohal and never Smoke.......
I aml also not taking any kind of Medicine regularly.
I do work in Textile sector........ but in office not in factory area.
Can i take VACCINE at this stage to prevent from Hapatitis?

sounds like you definately have inflamation with your liver. Since you tested negative for Hepatitis I would look at other things such as fatty liver, alcohol use, medications, working around chemicals / solvents, etc. All these type of things can increase liver function tests. good luck
