Horrible Headaches!

I just took shot #5 last night and the only sx I must say that I'm having is a nausiating headache that will NOT go away! I usually get a headache after my shot but after tylenol it dissapates, but since last weeks shot this is not the case.  In fact, I couldn't get out of bed for four days because of it last week. Has anyone else experienced headaches like these?

(Btw I have only had migranes twice in my 31 years and it's been over a year)

definitely calling doctor on Monday but wanted to check with you all as well!

Thanks :-)

Hey I prefer heat too it helps me much more than the ice - which probably means the headaches are formed in the muscles or something I dont know but I get them in my neck (cervical radiculopathy just means pain in the neck pretty much) but they are neck migraines......horrible the only thing that will get rid of them is if I can get enough Advil into me early enough, if not then I end up in the ER with demerol and vistaril and usually compazine because the amounts they give me to knock me out make me vomiti horrible (or the headaches do).

They are about the worst thing in the entire world.

Have you tried some Advil rather than tylenol?

Ice is good but my chiro insists that only 20 minutes, I forget why.

I prefer heat.  I have a neck bed buddy that goes in the microwave and it is a godsend!!  I have switched off and on heat and ice also.

Did you check with your doctor about the headaches? I hope they have since subsided.
I am just starting to get some energy back.I try to ride my bike once around the block every day and I think that has helped a bit.
I am waiting on tx since my biopsy was good. I have been battling high cholesterol for years and now am glad I never took prescription meds which I read can cause harm to your liver. I take herbal cholesterol med called heart savior. Haven't had tests on it yet, but maybe it is helping also.
What prescription are you on for the tx? I still have so much to learn.

Ice, ice, baby.

I had this velcro wrappy thing that held those blue cold packs on my head so I could sit up now and again. Actually it might have been one of my son's hockey shin guard straps.

Regardless, try a cold pack (really cold, keep switching them out) to see if it helps before you resort to making it fancy. I was getting pretty desperate and thought that tinfoil was helping them stay cold. Remember the movie Signs? Nuff said.
