Now Neupogen (for low WBC) is different, you must take it at least 24 hours or more after doing your IFN. it cuts in to the effects of the IFN if you take it too close together.
i did my first shot of procrit on the same day as my inf and then i ended up in the emergency room the next day. everything ended up alright, but i have since switched my procrit to a different day. i have had no problems since. good luck!
My N.P. advised me to not take both shots in the same day. So I take my INF on Fri. and Procrit on Sat. but they told me not to take Procrit again until they tell me to. My rbcs are fine now.
I take my inf on Monday night and procrit shot on Wednesday morning. No extra sx due to procrit that I can tell.
