hi
me and hubby have been having fertility treatment for 5years, just had some blood tests done and i was on the border of having hepatitis c, had another blood test but waiting for the result. We are booked in to have an iui in october.  If i have hep c will it be a good idea to do the iui or not?  Really do not understand it all.  please help  x

You sure dont want to ge pregnant if your on ribavirin.

I have had my blood test results back today and I have a low positive result:(  Coud you please tell me wot this means?  Also is vasculitis anything to do with the hcv? and if you have hcv do you have it for life?   I really do not understand it all as am waiting to see my doctor.

How you get pregnant will not matter. If you do have hepatitis C, your baby would have less than a 5% chance of getting it. It is very rare for a mother to transmit it  to her child. Good luck.
