Incivek, Peg, Riba----My daughter was UND at 4 & 12 weeks. She will be tested again Oct. 8, then 6 months later. Is there a thread on here or a website that can tell us how long the meds stay in the body ? She is looking forward to feeling better. Thank so much.
Has she finished treatment ?
Normally after treatment people begin to feel better after they stop the meds.
My hepatologist said most people feel the side effects are all gone by 3 months post treatment.
What she can do to help feel better is continue to drink water, exercise, eat well and be patient.
I started to feel better fairly quickly, not 100% but anything is btter than how I felt on treatment. It does take some time; I heard the same thing that Dee posted, actually from a pegasyst nurse. Good luck to your daughter.
