My husband has hep c. His liver biopsy came back with the findings:
The lung bases are grossly clear. Visualized portions of the liver, spleen, pancreas, adrenal glands, and the kidneys are grossly unremarkable.
There is no evidence of any bulky retroperitoneal abdominal adenopathy, bowel obstruction, or ascites. There is probable persistent left inferior vena cava. (what is probrable persistent left inferior vena cava?)
Can you explain the results to me?
Thank You
