I have autoimmune hep

I have no steadfast diagnosis beside that. Anyway, I started to learn the joy of hepatitis in October and everything has pretty much sucked since then. I have moon face. I can't get off the steroids. They've made me extremely moody. I'm incredibly tired and lethargic all the time now.

Is this going to get better? I'm 27 and it just kills me that my liver is Amy Winehouse basically. I just need a little support.

Steroids are the treatment of choice for autoimmune hepatitis. It is not a virus.

Gentleliver, I am sorry I don't know much about autoimmune hepatitis. I do know that you can get better. Have you talked with your doctor about lowering the dose of steroids until a little of the mooonface goes down as well as the irritability? I really hope you feel better soon. It's no fun at all.
