I missed one dose of riba last night

I missed one dose of riba last night. My husband told me that I took it earlier but I thought I only took anti-depress pill. I have really bad brain fog. I don't remember a lot of things lately. I was afraid to take double dose and I decided not to take.
Can you tell me how bad this is? What I should do now?

dale...errr...I thought the eye mask was only for freezing?, good thing I did not try to warm it up. Did you stare at it for the 30 minutes? Where were you, while it boiled itself to smithereens?
I was concerned about the eye swelling, and cold is better than heat, I read, so only the freezer was used!
My eye mask is alive and blue.

YOU!??? Misbehave -tell me it ain't so! Thanks can do man, but I'm just trying to add rest to keeping up with life. It's getting warmer so naturally it's insulated attic crawl space time. Lack of patience kicking butt lately, eyes have been bothering me. Seems I need a lot of light to see...so what do I do...I go up in dark attics and try to install lights. Been hitting a lot of rafters with the compromised cranium container lately, almost connected a  wire to my pinky finger(couldn't figure out why twisting the pliers hurt so much). Overall life is fine... but I expect a report on who's misbehaving so I can let Santa know.:)

Do you have any idea how hard it is to clean the blue jel the explodes from the eye mask out of a white micro wave. I blue it to H***. I thought I hit 30 seconds and must have hit 30 minutes but I stood there with no concept of time starring at the window in the door. I freaked when it turned blues clues blue. I thought I popped a vein in my head. It is a nice kit though even less the eye mask. Dale

Debby: You didn't double up on the shot. How did you live through the night. It had to be bad. If I drop a pill on the kitchen floor I have to do battle with my Yorkie. He figures if its on the floor its his. One of these days I'll let him have one of those ribas and turn him loose on the Doberman next door. Ha!

I missed a dose of Riba early in my treatment and I was so worried that I had jeopardized my clearing. I asked my doctor if I should take more and catch up and he told me not to worry about it. You should probably ask your doctor though. I also remember reading the rule of 80-80-80, which is, if you take 80 percent of your medication, 80 percent of the treatment time and you have an 80 percent chance of clearing the virus. Two things have been very helpful for me. I use one of the am/pm weekly pill boxes which helps a lot. I only have to remember what pills I need to take once a week when I am counting them out and then I don't have to think about it the rest of the week. Also, I set alarms on my cellphone that ring when it is time to take the medicine. Those alarms have saved me many missed doses.

Ksk says: ... 80-80-80, which is, if you take 80 percent of your medication, 80 percent of the treatment time and you have an 80 percent chance of clearing the virus.

Close but no cigar :) What the rule says is that if you take 80% of your peg and 80% of your riba, 80% of the time you will have a better treatment outcome than if you don't. Keep in mind the rule is controversial and is not intended to give people the message that it's OK to skip meds. Most hepatologists encourage patients to take 100% of their meds if possible.

I dont see how missing 1 dose out of 672 is going to hurt your chance of SVR. I missed about a dozen doses and im UND.
Dont sweat the small stuff.

Best to you, Dyana

If you miss one more dose, you will have to go to your room without supper, or TV...

The little am/pm pill box worked great for me while I was getting used to it.  Now I just take it with my dinner meal (so I get that fat absorbtion going in there) anyway...so I rarely forget.

Do the best you can - as long as you only missed a dose it shouldn't affect your serum level in your blood that much.

Just don't forget the Interferon - that would be BAD.

The morning / night pill box was to physical for me. I had to walk to the window to try and figure out if it were am or pm. If in doubt throw more pills in. Seriously though I have been surprised at how well I've done with keeping up with meds and not missing any. I guess when it becomes the number one event in your day you just make it work. Is that sad or what:) Dale

if you are on Pegasys, Roche has this nifty "gift" bag that includes pill box, sharps, analgesics, cold pack, eye pack, etc. Call them up, their pill box is great.

LOL I can relate.  I always take my pills with me in the car in the morning to drink with my yogurt smoothie on the ride and one day one went and flew off the place I put them and was rolling around and I was FRANTIC almost caused quite some car crash.

Now, in all reality I could have waited to get it at a light but I was like oh my GOD what if it breaks??? What about my pill oh no my pill! Like some crazy lady.

Were you around when I was so overly concerned with the Interferon shot that one night I took TWO?  Oh man never again will I do that.  It was the ONE time when I broke my usual "routine" and well...maybe that was the week I got cleared hahahahahahhaaha.  It hurt though I got to tell you that - never again.

We are an obsessive cult huh? ;)

Dyce, I hate to tell you but you really do want to be a good boy and take your medicine.  I know it tastes bad and makes you feel yuck right now, but it will make you feel better.  And you do want that undetectible - it really makes it all worth it.  When do you go for your PCR?

Dale Ray, you are picking my memory bone - I loved watching that when I was a kid.  I thought Little Joe was HOT!  LOL!  Loved Lost in Space with the robot saying "danger, danger, Will Robinson, danger, danger"
