Another study on IL28B impact on 2/3s including graphs showing SVR and relapse rates for all three SNPs.
Does that mean you have the "CC"Allele?I have the cc and my results didnt say favorable for SVR-just that I had it cindy
I had a IL28B test and the results came back as "favourable for SVR" this was a complete surprise to me as I'm a 3 time non responder....!!
However, that what the test says, so don't know why I haven't responded.
So don't really have much confidence in it.
I'm a geno 1a. I'm going for the P.I.'s next!
An IL28B Polymorphism Determines Treatment Response of Hepatitis C Virus Genotype 2 or 3 Patients Who Do Not Achieve a Rapid Virologic Response
http://www.gastrojournal.org/article/S0016-5085(10)00841-3/abstract
"An IL-28B polymorphism was associated with an SVR in patients infected with genotype 2/3 HCV who did not achieve a RVR. Analysis of IL-28B genotype might be used to guide treatment for these patients."
